We thank you, God, for the newness of this month and this season of new beginnings. Children are returning to school, churches are starting their programs, and communities are gathering once again. Help us to live anew in you, reminding us of our baptism that brought us into newness of life. You make us anew, everyday. Help us to appreciate each day as a new opportunity to serve you as we should. Amen.
