The Denver Forum: "On God's Side"
New York Times bestselling author Jim Wallis thinks our life together can be better. In his latest book, Jim shows us how to reclaim Jesus’ ancient and compelling vision of the common good—a vision that impacts and inspires not only our politics but also our personal lives, families, churches, neighborhoods, and world. He thinks it’s time to ask what it means to be on God’s side, rather than claim God to be on ours.
At noon on May 7th The Denver Forum will host Jim Wallis for a luncheon at the Oxford Hotel. Jim will share selections and stories from his latest book, On God's Side: What Religion Forgets and Politics Hasn't Learned About Serving the Common Good.
Tickets for this event are $35 for members and guests.
The Denver Forum is dedicated to the dialogue of democracy. That core belief was present at The Forum's inception in 1985 and remains, 26 years later, the driving principle of the organization. In faithful observance of that ideal, The Forum has presented more than 550 programs in the highest public interest.
