Congratulations on your fine "Pop Culture" issue (June 1994)! The format, including the views and responses of so many writers, was stimulating and informative. I particularly enjoyed the exchange between David Batstone and Bill Smith ("What’s Faith Got to Do With It?")—something fresh, spontaneous, and inspiring is captured in the record of a dialogue rather than the word that has been written, scrutinized, analyzed, and written again. And the style of the writing was certainly appropriate to the issue being discussed! Thanks for excellent content, format, and writing.
