Much as I enjoy Danny Duncan Collum’s essays ("Eyes & Ears") on popular culture, somebody must backstop him on trivial facts. For example, in the May 1994 issue he claimed that Clint Eastwood "got his start in a TV series called Wagon Train." No, it was another Western series, Rawhide, on which Eastwood played Rowdy Yates from 1959-66 on CBS. Gotcha!
