Volunteer Opportunities

The Jubilee Network seeks congregations to help support, in wealthy nations' interactions with the developing world, the biblical principle of freeing those enslaved by debt. Member congregations contribute prayer, letters to elected officials, resources, and ideas. Visit www.jubileeusa.org or call (202) 783-3566.

Christian Peacemaker Teams will send 12-day delegations to Israel/Palestine to meet with local peacemakers and to join in a public, nonviolent witness against injustice and violence. CPT will also send delegations to Colombia to accompany vulnerable families in Barranca. Visit www.cpt.org or call (773) 277-0253.

Witness for Peace leads "Women's Lives and Free Trade in the Global Market," a delegation to Mexico, August 16-25. Registration deadline is June 16. Visit www.witnessforpeace. org or contact Susana, (218) 724-5775; swoodwar@d.umn.edu.
