Sojo.net Managing Editor Tyler Huckabee Wins Runner Up for Best News Commentary

Sojourners Magazine won first place in the religion publication category in the 2026 Excellence in Religion Reporting Awards from Religion News Association (RNA) at its annual conference in Atlanta, Georgia from April 23 to 25, 2026. Sojo.net Managing Editor Tyler Huckabee was honored as the runner up for best news commentary. RNA has been a leading professional association for religion reporters since 1949.

Sojourners President Adam Taylor said, “It’s a particular honor to be recognized by a group like the RNA that really knows how to cover religion in depth. We know there are many terrific religion publications out there so this win is a special honor. It’s also a testament to Sojourners’ aim and commitment to tell stories of how people of faith come together to take courageous action.”
