If an animal running on a treadmill puts a smile on your face, then you’re in for a treat. Buzz Feed presents the ultimate compilation video of animals running on treadmills. [Buzz Feed]

One nerdy (and incredibly cool) fish owner transforms his aquarium into a full blown scene from Super Mario Brothers, including magic mushrooms, stairs, a castle, and Mario. [Geeks are Sexy]

Another summer-fused album is available to stream before its release later this month. Plug in the headphones and crank up the good vibes of the Vancouver, B.C. rock duo Japandroids. [NPR]

There’s nothing like a little natural music, made straight from the trees and vegetation that surround us. In celebration of Earth Day 2012, (yes, a bit late) one musical entrepreneur sets aside the synthesizers in exchange for some natural sounds made from fruit, nuts, plants, and even honey bees. [Behance]

For more outdoor-ish videos (not really related to the above) check out the Los Angeles indie rock outift, Local Natives, playing an original tune on a backyard patio and covering “Cecilia” using a tree for a little percussive flare.

Take an audio journey with design audiophile Roman Mars as he explores the craft of Trappist beer. These brews, hailed as some of the best in the world, have an amazing story to tell, replete with a long history and coveted taste. See more via 99 Percent Invisible.

Andrew Bird’s standout song from his latest album Break it Yourself takes crafty approach to his lyrics about heartbreak and discovery. See the colorful paper cut stop animation video for “Eyeoneye” below.

It seems like video projection onto outdoor architecture is gaining a wide audience. Just recently there was Doug Aitken's "Song 1" at the Hirshorn Museuem in Washington D.C. and now the iconic shapes of Sydney Australia’s Opera House are transformed into an illuminating work, “Lighting of the Sails.”
