While The Beach Boys are still kings of good vibes, the minions from Despicable Me give them a run for their money with a little wit, rhythm, and charm of their own. (And don't we all know someone who always has to take it a little too far? Like the minion with the birthday kazoo?)

To celebrate the Discovery Channel’s newest show Frozen Planet, they’ve partnered with SeaWorld in San Diego to offer a live Penguin Cam. This 24-hour web stream will be available through April, allowing you to see life from a penguin’s point of view. [Discovery]

IN WEIRD NEWS: Westboro Baptist Church protests a Radiohead concert in Kansas City, referring to them as “freak monkeys with mediocre tunes.” Meanwhile, longtime friend and recording engineer to the band joked on twitter that so far, this has been the highlight of the tour. [Pitchfork]

‘Before I Die’ is a Chicago-based public art collaboration that creates a communal space for shared hopes. Sidewalk travelers are encouraged to contribute by writing on the walls with sidewalk chalk, filling in the sentence, “Before I die I want to…” [Colossal]

Biologists and foresters have begun to use dogs to capture invasive python snakes in the Florida Everglades. These dog aassistants are part of the initative EcoDogs . [OnEarth]
