Even in a new year, old issues remain: at the end of National Migrant Week, we pray for immigrant families who are trapped in difficult situations, whether separated from families and loved ones or unable to fully engage in the countries they have come to love and call home. Lord, have mercy; and give us eyes to see ways in which we can reach out to those around us.
