Creator God, you created the world and set it in motion -- the earth and all that is in it is your handiwork. Help us to understand when the water, wind and storms drive us from our homes. Be with our brothers and sisters in Pakistan and China who are being displaced by floods, and for those in our own community and nation that face a similar fate. Bring them comfort. Bring them peace. Amen
