AUDIO: A New Life for Weapons

by Rebecca Kraybill, Mike Martin | December 2013

An interview with Mike Martin, founder of RAWTools.

As Shane Claiborne writes in “What Would the Prince of Peace Say Today?” (Sojourners, December 2013), a group called RAWTools is inspired by Isaiah 2:4 to truly beat swords into plowshares. RAWTools, founded in February 2013, uses blacksmithing methods to convert discarded weapons into garden tools.

Sojourners editorial assistant Rebecca Kraybill talked with founder Mike Martin to discuss the technical and theological aspects of weapon conversion.
