Thank you to Mara Vanderslice for voicing important concerns for Christians who support Democrats ("Religious Democrats?" May 2004). I have been feeling like such a lost soul. I am an evangelical Christian who is a strong Democrat in favor of peace, making friends with our European allies, supporting our public schools, and caring for the environment. It has been so frustrating to read comments about the current administration and feel so out of place with the supposed voter profiles. Thank you, Sojourners!
