When Handel’s Messiah was first performed in London in 1743, it is said that King George II leapt to his feet when the “Hallelujah” chorus began. Too bad the old king didn’t have Apple’s new Hallelujah Button on his iPhone. Yep, now you can download the famous oratorio for only 99 cents—and let out a little “Hallelujah” yelp whenever the Spirit moves.
