“Overcoming Violent Fundamentalism” (July 2013), by Jim Wallis, is an excellent article. I often hear Christians talk about Muslim extremists, but the words of Jesus, “Blessed are the peacemakers,” are never mentioned. I long to hear the church address this issue in a way that incorporates the teachings of Jesus. I would also like to hear more things in the vein of this article about how I can reach out to moderates in the Muslim faith. Thanks for being a voice that brings me back to the radical love Jesus modeled.
