Shreya Agrawal is a science journalist and climate communicator who reports on the environment, science, health, politics, and social issues.

She is currently working at The Xylom as their inaugural newsroom fellow and at the USC Annenberg Center for Climate Journalism and Communication as their engagement coordinator.

Previously, she worked at CalMatters as a health care news intern and at the Malheur Enterprise as the inaugural rural climate reporting fellow for the USC Annenberg Climate Center. She graduated from USC in 2023 with degrees in geological sciences, creative writing, and journalism. Her work has also appeared in Los Angeles Times, Planet Forward, and USC Annenberg Media.
