Loving God, place a burden on our hearts today for your children across the world who are hungry. The thought of 1 billion chronically malnourished people on this earth is nearly inconceivable to us. But you, Lord, know each of these people by name. Give us the strength to act boldly to fight the sources of hunger, around the world and in the United States. Amen.
