Prayer of the Day: Knocking at the Door

God of love, we especially pray for those who suffer physically, mentally, or spiritually. May we welcome and meet the needs of those who come knocking at our door and may we find an open door when it is us who does the knocking. May we recognize your unending love for us and trust in your abundant grace to meet our needs beyond our expectations, each time we turn to you. Amen.
