Prayer of the Day: Made Death Itself the Victim

God, source of new life, your Son broke the chains of death forever, as he rose powerfully to new and eternal life. Fill us with the joy of Resurrection, and the hope of that same Paschal miracle that made death itself the victim. Amen.
