Prayer of the Day: Seek Your Presence in Our Lives

God of our fulfillment, we know from your Son that our beliefs and practices should serve to seek your presence in our lives; otherwise, they become a dead end for our spirits and a burden that conceals you. Grant us the humility and wisdom to know that you are ever greater than the ways and means by which we search for you. Amen.
