The Rt. Rev. C. Andrew Doyle serves as the Episcopal Bishop of Texas while also writing Unabashed Faith (2025), which examines Christian witness in our constantly connected society. Bishop Doyle leads an innovative ministry in one of the United States' largest Episcopal dioceses. He combines his theological work with advocacy for embodied discipleship and is working on his Ph.D. at the University of Chester, U.K.

But beneath the shimmering language of prosperity lies a troubling philosophy — one that recasts the U.S. citizen as a market participant above all else and reshapes public policy into a liturgy for the god of the economy.
